About

Dr. Trouillot was born and raised in New York City. He received a BA in Intellectual History from Brandeis University and his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine in 1989. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Afterwards, he joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor for five years specializing in liver disease. In 2001, he left academic medicine and entered private practice in gastroenterology and hepatology. He enjoys teaching and continues to give GI and liver-related lectures to physicians.

Dr. Trouillot is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. He is a member of the medical staff at Presbyterian/St. Lukes, Exempla Saint Joseph, and Rose Medical Centers. Dr. Trouillot has two children.
